Phone Assessment
You call 708-726-5955 and describe the backup. We ask which fixture is slow, whether it is a kitchen sink or floor drain, and if water backs up into other drains. That tells us whether you need a sink line snake or a main sewer line cleaning. We give you a window and a price range before we roll.
02
On-Site Inspection
The tech arrives with gloves, bucket, and drop cloths. We pull the drain cover and look into the p-trap with a flashlight. If the clog is deep or the pipe is old, we may run a drain camera first. This takes 10 to 15 minutes and tells us exactly what tool to use.
03
Snaking the Line
We feed the drain snake cable into the pipe and spin the auger head through the blockage. For kitchen sinks, we work through the p-trap and branch line. For main line clogs, we go through the cleanout. The tech controls the feed rate so the cable does not bind or damage the pipe.
04
Flush and Test
Once the cable breaks through, we pull it back and flush the line with hot water. We fill the sink and let it drain completely, then run the garbage disposal unit to check that side too. If water still stands, we run the snake again or switch to a hydro jetting machine.
05
Cleanup and Advice
We wipe down the sink, floor, and surrounding counter. You get a plain-language rundown of what clogged the line and how to avoid it next time. If we see a p-trap leak or failing pipe sealant, we point it out and can fix it on the spot.
